DIVIDING SUCCULENT ROOTSTOCKS (1)

Divide the plant (here Sedum spectabile) as it comes into growth in the spring. Lift the whole plant with a long-handled fork, taking care not to damage the roots and fleshy leaves.Shake off as much soil as possible from the roots.
