If you are a photographer and wish to enquire about projects for Adult and Children DK publications please contact the relevant department on www.dk.com. Not for Profit If you wish to use a DK copyright image for charity/educational - not for profit purposes then please refer to the Terms and Conditions for Clip Art on the Dorling Kindersley website. Terms and Conditions Obviously you may find an image in a DK publication that you wish to use for a non-profit purpose and does not appear on Clip Art. As long as you adhere to the terms and conditions set out and the image is a DK copyright image then you can go ahead and scan from the book but DK Images accepts no responsibility for the publication. This is entirely done at your own discretion. If you wish to receive a hi res scan from us simply email us with the asset id number but be aware a scanning cost of £30.00 will be incurred. Where possible you should always credit the image (c) Dorling Kindersley. Publicity DK Images should only be contacted for third party sales ie where a fee is involved. If you are promoting a DK product and wish to use images to enhance the promotion then you need to speak to publicity directly. Their contact details can be found on www.dk.com. Agency Pictures/Non DK Copyright Credits for photography/artworks used in DK publications can be found at the back of the books. DK Images can only supply DK copyright photography found on our website for third party sales. It is the client's responsibility to contact agencies, museums, art galleries for usage of imagery directly that is not DK copyright. We would always suggest a search tool such as Google to find contact details for them or for an individual photographer. Research We do encourage you to use the website as a research tool. You do not need to be registered to use our search engine. Simply entering keywords should hopefully result in matching images. If you do have a list of subjects that you want us to research then depending on size of work involved we can do this for you free of charge otherwise a fee will be incurred. We would inform you of this upon receiving the request. Prices of reproduction of Images We have tried to include as many usage options as possible for you to price up images. If you cannot find one that fits your requirements or you wish to be quoted on multiple usage costs please email enquiries@dkimages.com with as much detail as possible (length of licence/size of image used/print run/industry promoted). For repeated usage of images the general rule is 50% of original cost. Again do contact us if you wish to discuss further.
